Crossroads Soccer Association is happy to announce a new partnership with Alexandria’s Le Bistreaux Coffee & Waffle Bar. This partnership will bring you a Weekly Player Focus during the recreational soccer season. This series will provide development guidelines for players of all ages. This will help player and parents navigate the player development process by providing age appropriate expectations and highlighting technical and tactical skills to work on.
The first part of this series focuses on our youngest recreational players, 5u-8u. Check it out!
Each year, Crossroads Soccer Association’s executive board sets the purchase price of the shares available for purchase to CSA members and the general public. At the September monthly board meeting, the board voted to keep the share price at $100. Those interested in purchasing shares have until September 30, 2017 to purchase. After September 30th, shares will not be available for purchase until Fall of 2018 (when new board sets price).
CSA shareholders vote annually to determine the membership of CSA’s executive board. Once the board is elected, the board votes to determine which board members will be the officers of the club (i.e., President, Vice President, Secretary, & Treasurer).
Funds generated by share purchases are dedicated to purchasing equipment for CSA programming.
Parties interested in purchasing shares should contact Crossroads’ Secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Treasurer (email@example.com) via email.
Crossroads Soccer Association’s competitive teams for the 2017/18 season have been announced. CSA PRIDE team and coach assignments are linked below.
New to this year’s invitations are “Pool Players.” Pool Players do not have a roster spot on a competitive team but have been invited to continue to improve their skills by enjoying the benefits of practicing and training with our competitive teams. Pool Players may get promoted to a full roster spot at the discretion of the coach and CSA’s competitive commissioner. This pathway has been created to ensure as many players as possible have the opportunity to progress in the game. Club fees for Pool Players are half of CSA’s competitive club fees. If a Pool Player gets promoted to a full roster spot, he/she must pay the difference before finalizing the full roster spot.
Players must initially accept team assignments by July 10 [Online Acceptance Form Link]
Players must complete final registration via Blue Sombrero and submit full or partial payment by August 4th to avoid late fees. Blue Sombrero team registration/club fee portal will open no later than July 11th.
Please review the Competitive FAQs for information related to club, team, and uniform fees.
